Affiliate links

Some links on this site go to RC shops and online retailers. If you click one and buy something, MinutesofThunder may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is the same either way.

We take part in affiliate programs run by hobby retailers and general retailers, including programs for Horizon Hobby, Tower Hobbies, and AMain Hobbies through the AvantLink network, and the Amazon Associates program in the United States and Canada. Which specific programs are active can change, so this list is a general description rather than a current contract list.

What affiliate links do not change:

Which products get recommended. Picks are made on how a part performs and what it costs, then linked.
Where a product sits in an article. A product with no affiliate program can still be the top pick.
What the article says about a product's flaws. If a recommended car has a weak servo, the guide says so.

Where a link is an affiliate link, the article says so near the top of the page or in the section where the links appear.

Findmmm

MinutesofThunder is affiliated with Findmmm, an iPhone and iPad app for finding photos and videos in your own photo library. Some articles mention it where it genuinely helps with RC photos and videos, and the site benefits if readers use it. Articles that mention it carry this disclosure near the top:

Disclosure: Minutes of Thunder is affiliated with Findmmm, the app mentioned in this article, and benefits if you use it. We only mention it where it genuinely helps with RC photos and videos.

Findmmm is not a sponsor of individual articles, and no article is written to an advertiser's brief.

Advertising

The site carries no display advertising: no banners, no video ads, no sponsored posts. If that ever changes, this page will say so before any ad appears.
